The thousands of 1mm laser cut perforations in the membrane generate ultra fine air bubbles at a low head loss. The smaller the bubble, the greater the surface area and the greater the oxygen transfer. Furthermore the smaller the bubble, the greater the bubble drag, and therefore the greater the mixing of the compost tea. The DownUnder membranes are easy to clean and by the unique design as soon as the air flow ceases the membrane closes preventing any flow back through the membrane into the air supply cavity.

Application

For a quote on our 92mm made to measure DownUnder Ultra Fine Bubble Diffuser email the accurate inside measurement (mm). In addition it is wise to include air pump specifications and intended depth of water above the diffuser to allow us to check out the total head loss etc. The diffusers are supplied with two 25mm poly tank flanges, therefore you will require a 33mm hole saw. The minimum price is based on wastage in cutting up 1m tubes.
