
The corrosion resistant stainless steel heating element, accurately controls temperature during compost tea brewing. Thermostat range 0-40oC and fitted with an indicator light. Heater are normally pre-set at 27-28oC to speed up growth to reduce the compost tea brewing time.
Heaters are generally fitted to the smaller brewers where the water temperature at the start of brewing is below say 15oC. Usually fitted to compost tea brewers used in the winter in Southern Australia.
Specification: 2400W, 240V, single phase, 50 Hz heater connected to power with a 2.5m, 3 pin, 10 amp lead. The heating element is 300mm long and easily fitted by cutting a 58-60mm diameter hole in the tank wall and fixed in place with a 2” BSP brass backing nut.
