EQUIPMENT
The SmartBug and DownUnder range of compost tea brewers are the only brewers fitted with our unique DownUnder Diffusers. Made from custom moulded 2mm synthetic rubber, resistant to tearing provides years of trouble-free service. The 1mm laser cut perforations generate ultra fine air bubbles with a low head loss.
The smaller the bubble, the greater the surface area, the greater the oxygen transfer. Furthermore the smaller the bubble, the greater the bubble drag, and therefore the greater the mixing. The membranes are easy to clean and with the clever design as soon as the air flow ceases the membrane closes preventing any flow back into the membrane and air supply cavity.
